LOADING CHECKOUT" (v2, 2026-09-15) Lives on the GHL store product page /product-details/product/69fa6c45e37520083cac5b70 (the NZ & Australia "Buy the Book" destination). It sends the visitor straight to /checkout with the book in the cart, so the product page is never really seen. WHY v2. Version 1 hid the page behind a black "Loading Checkout..." screen, waited 3 seconds, fired a SCRIPTED click on GHL's "Buy now" button and, if nothing happened in 5 seconds, forced /checkout anyway. GHL only honours that scripted click in some browsers (desktop Chrome yes, iPhone Safari no), so on a phone the forced redirect landed on an EMPTY cart (CONFIRMED 15 Sep 2026, Logan's phone + a fresh browser). Desktop looked fine only because the cart from an earlier real click was still stored in that browser. WHAT v2 DOES INSTEAD. A real "Buy now" click does two things: writes the cart to localStorage and opens /checkout. This block does exactly those two things itself, immediately, in every browser. No click, no waiting. If the browser blocks storage (rare), GHL's own Buy now could not work either, so the screen turns into a short message with the Amazon route instead. THE STORE SECTION ON THIS PAGE CAN BE HIDDEN AGAIN (Logan, 15 Sep). v1 needed GHL's Buy now button on the page to click it; v2 never touches it, so the product info section can be hidden at every breakpoint and the page is just this black screen for the instant before the checkout opens. REPLACE the existing Custom Code element on that page (its code starts ). Paste this whole block instead. IF THE PRICE OR NAME EVER CHANGES in the store, update the CART constants below to match (name, amount). The ids do not change. ============================================================ -->
